Where does your marble come from?
Our marble is sourced from Italy, Turkey and India. Each region is known for its own stone: fine-grained Italian marble such as Carrara, richly patterned Turkish marble, and Indian marble in a wide range of natural tones.
Is every set unique?
Yes. Because the stone is natural, the veining and color vary from piece to piece, and every set is one of a kind. Each piece is hand-carved, so please allow for slight variation in dimensions.
Are your chess sets made of real marble?
Yes. Our boards and pieces are hand-carved from natural stone, including marble and green onyx.
Where are Stone & Game pieces designed and shipped from?
Our pieces are designed in Sweden and ship from Stockholm within 1–3 business days.
